A Porsche driver who decided he had a Subaru for your time. He left the car for a few days. Clearly damaged his underbody, including exhaust. Still though. Looks good in WRX clothing.

Question: I need to design a simple pill shaped 14"x 4"x 1/8" object to send to a local thermoform 3d printing company. What software do I need? I haven’tbeen able to figure out gravit designer or blender. I know this is probably really easy for people with 3d graphic design backgrounds, but I am overwhelmed.

Solidworks has a free edition if you are a student or vet.

Make a rectangle with those dimensions and download a free pill model from somewhere. Blow up/implode/squish/hammer the pill until it fits.

You’re not wrong. Just have more faith in Oppo than the support of free graphic design software

Shame the Macan is roughed up, but at least it’s just the four-banger model. Cool to see it’s actually being used off-road, though.

It depends on what they use. There could be a number of file types.

i can model it up tomorrow an email over. .stl or iges are the most common.but I would ask them what works best.

14" v 4" by 1/8"

if you’re a student solidworks offers a super discounted version.

Really? That would be awesome! They need .stl and yeah 14” x 4” x 1/8” with about that kind of curve to it, but maybe a little more slight.

I’m not a student, but my gf is... I could use her email if that’s all that’s needed for the solidworks.

If the second one is filleted... then that one. This is my application for it:

So as you can see from my ill fitting mock up what I have in mind. With my mock up being an inch shorter in both directions than the dimensions I’ve given you. It is also to dramatic in its curvature.
